A Bit About Rebecca

With a healthcare journey going all the way back to 1988, continuing to further her education while gaining real world knowledge and experience, to opening a private practice. 

Rebecca saw a community need for a healthcare provider that can take on all aspects of patients and their families health. Backed with years of experience involving different parts of the nursing and healthcare industry, such as Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Home Healthcare, Intensive Care Units, Cardiopulmonary, Medical Surgical Nursing and Hospice End of Life care, she decided to fill that need. 
 

Rebecca feels her experience in the industry and her own personal health experiences over the years has given her the desire to determine and target the root of the disease, and not just focus on relieving the symptoms. By focusing on functional, naturopathic therapy, her and her team have the same goal in mind; improving the health and well-being of every patient.

Providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring the health condition of her clients while performing basic medical tasks like checking vital signs, and offer companionship.

Providing foundational care to patients in various settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. She would assist with essential tasks like bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, while also supporting registered nurses and doctors by taking vital signs, documenting patient health concerns, and facilitating communication between patients and the healthcare team, ensuring a comprehensive approach her patient's care.

Providing direct nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and doctors, focusing on patient comfort and basic medical needs, administer medications, monitoring patient health, assisting with wound care, and contributing to patient education and health promotion initiatives.

Providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families. She performed a wide range of duties, including conducting medical assessments, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to devise patient care plans. She worked in many diverse settings, from hospitals and outpatient facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, to end of life facilities and beyond.

Providing comprehensive healthcare services across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly. As an FNP she is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, offer preventive care, manage chronic illnesses, and provide health education and counseling. They have the autonomy to conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate and manage treatments. Still working in diverse settings, including private practices, clinics, end of life facilities, and rehabilitation centers, Playing a pivotal role in expanding access to healthcare in a limited options for health care area. 

She now provides a broad range of services including diagnosing and treating various health conditions, managing chronic diseases, and offering preventive care across all ages. With her specialization in wound care, Rebecca is adept at assessing, treating, and managing complex wound and skin conditions, utilizing advanced wound care techniques and technologies. As the owner of a primary care clinic, she also oversees the clinic's operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and managing the business aspects of the practice. Her expertise and leadership contribute significantly to the health and well-being of her patients and the efficiency and effectiveness of her clinic.
